Job Purpose Summary:
Overview of Clinical Supervisor job functions which include clinical and administrative oversight of mental health clinicians at Victory Bay.
- Direct supervision of Clinicians:
- Facilitate and document individual and group Clinical Supervision for clinicians in mental health programs at Victory Bay
- Leading weekly clinical meetings
- Therapist coaching and training e.g., Performance reviews, corrective action, case conceptualization
- Oversight and managing of clinician and group schedule
- Direct Care to Clients:
- 1-2 client caseload and 1-2 groups per week
- On call crisis and program management
- Administration:
- On call responsibilities, approximately once per month
- Onboarding/training of newly hired clinicians
- Review and sign of on all MH documentation for the previous week by Monday at 5 pm
- Clinician training and auditing
- Incident Reporting
- Leadership, Management and Accountability
- Lead team to complete tasks and goals.
- Maintain the mission and values of the company and leading team members to complete tasks that bring them close to the achievement of these goals.
- Enforcing quality standards and provide valuable feedback to team and upper management on potential improvements
- Resolving conflicts and complaints from employees and clients
- Analyzing information and processes and developing more effective to efficient processes and strategies
- Generating reports and presenting information to upper management and other parties as directed or monitor team performance and report on metrics
- Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere
- Effectively communicate with team regarding performance
- Discovery training needs and provide coaching
- Plan and organize team activities
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible and accountable for team’s success as measured by Key Performance Indicators.
- Leveraging KPI data and reporting weekly.
- Oversee and ensure completion of any required reports
- Provide individual and group supervision
- Caseload of 1-2 groups and facilitate 1-2 groups per week in IOP program
- Crisis Management for MH programs
- Respond to emails from staff within a 24-hour time frame
- Facilitate and participle in weekly meetings.
- Ensure all supervisees complete the required trainings as mandated by state regulations and Joint Commission Standards.
- Communicate and train clinicians on changes/updates to policy and procedure and ensure staff-wide compliance.
- Completion of monthly chart audits to ensure accuracy of clinical documentation.
- Completion of quarterly group audits for each clinician
- Ensure all required paperwork related to incident reporting is completed by staff
- Conduct timely performance evaluations according to regulations for all supervised staff
- Training and onboarding of new clinicians
- Manage all time off requests and administrative functions relating to supervising a team
- Ensuring coverage for staff when needed
- Other duties as assigned to meet client, staff and employer needs

Required Education: Master's Degree and Full Licensure in state of practice, Supervisor credential at time of hire or within 1 year of offer acceptance
